Cleanroom Solutions for Defence
At ACH, we understand that defence manufacturing runs to tighter tolerances than almost any other sector. Optics, guidance electronics, satellite hardware and composite structures each fail in their own way when particulate, static discharge or moisture is left uncontrolled, and each failure is discovered late and expensively. From ISO classified assembly cleanrooms and ESD-controlled production areas to dry rooms and environmental test chambers, our modular systems give precise control over air cleanliness, temperature, humidity and access. Designed, manufactured and installed in Canada, by a Canadian supply chain.
Defence and Military Cleanroom Applications
A defence cleanroom is specified by what it protects against: particles, static, moisture or hazardous material. Military electronics, optics and guidance systems can pass inspection and still fail in service when contamination or electrostatic damage goes uncontrolled. Every environment is built from the modular walls, ceilings and doors we manufacture in our own facility.
Optics and Sensor Cleanrooms
ISO 5 to ISO 7 environments for military optics, thermal imaging and sensor payloads, where a single particle on a coated surface can degrade the whole assembly.
ESD Cleanrooms for Electronics
ISO 7 to ISO 8 assembly areas for radar, avionics and guidance electronics, with conductive flooring, grounded surfaces and humidity control supporting ANSI/ESD S20.20.
CBRN Containment Rooms
Negative pressure rooms with specialist filtration and decontamination airlocks, protecting the people working inside and the facility around them from hazardous materials.
Lithium Battery Assembly In Dry Rooms
Low dew point rooms for lithium battery assembly and moisture-sensitive materials, sealed and dehumidified so the dew point holds steady through every shift.
Our Defence Cleanroom Solutions
We provide complete turnkey cleanroom and controlled environment packages for defence and aerospace manufacturers, from design through manufacturing, supply and installation.
Our Professional Defence Cleanroom Solutions Include:
- ISO Classified Modular Cleanrooms
- ESD-Controlled Assembly Areas
- CBRN Containment Rooms
- Dry Rooms for Batteries and Energetics
- Environmental Qualification Rooms
- HVAC Supply & Installation
- Environmental Monitoring Systems
Whether you are building a new defence manufacturing facility, upgrading an existing production area to an ISO classified cleanroom, or separating controlled work from general production, we design the environment around your process, product and security plan rather than the other way round.
Modular Cleanroom Systems We Manufacture and Install
Modular Cleanroom Walls
Prefabricated wall panels engineered to your layout, forming ISO classified enclosures and separating controlled work from general production areas.
Walkable Ceilings
Structural ceiling systems that carry access loads and support fan filter units, with all services routed above and reachable without entering the clean space.
Cleanroom Doors
Flush sliding and swing doors with proper seals and interlocks, forming airlocks and the entries into classified areas.
Vision Panels
Integrated glazed panels allowing supervision of contained aisles and equipment rooms without breaking the seal.
Environmental Monitoring Systems
Continuous temperature, humidity, differential pressure and particle count logging, with alarms and the records a certification file needs.
Aerospace Cleanrooms
For facilities building or servicing airframes, avionics and space hardware, where the same sealed envelope and ESD control apply.
Security, Controlled Goods and ESD Control
Defence work adds constraints that most cleanroom projects never meet: who is allowed in the room, what they are allowed to see, and static control that has to be proven rather than assumed.
- Controlled goods access: crews install the envelope and services with no access to controlled goods or technical data.
- Escorted site working: phased access, escorted crews and restricted areas agreed with your security officer before mobilisation.
- Security integration: card access, interlocks and door monitoring built into the cleanroom doors and walls, not added later.
- ESD control to ANSI/ESD S20.20: conductive flooring, grounded surfaces, bonded panels and humidity control specified as one path to ground.
- ISO 14644-1 certification: qualification records, airflow and pressure readings and classification testing support at handover.
- Reconfiguration between programmes: modular systems demount and relocate without rebuilding a qualified cleanroom.
