Our Approach
A Complete Compressed Air Piping System, Not Just a Compressor
Most facilities buy a compressor and inherit a piping problem. We engineer the whole system as one solution, so the compressor, the dryers, the filters, the distribution, and every point of use perform together from day one.
Most facilities buy a compressor. Then they inherit a piping problem.
In most facilities, old steel pipe corrodes from the inside. Leaks waste 20 to 30 percent of compressed air output. Pressure drops force the compressor to work harder than it should. Energy bills climb, equipment wears faster, and product quality drifts.
We engineer the entire system as one solution.
Every compressed air piping system we deliver starts with what your process actually needs: air quality class, demand profile, peak load, point-of-use distribution, and future expansion capacity. From there we design the complete system, oil-free or scroll compressor, refrigerated or desiccant dryer, multi-stage filtration, properly sized receiver tank, condensate management, and aluminum distribution to every drop.
One team owns the outcome.
We do not hand off between trades. ACH performs the engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning under one accountable scope, the same way we deliver turnkey cleanroom solutions for regulated industries, where the building infrastructure is part of the product and failure is not an option.

Three Hidden Costs of a Poor Compressed Air Piping System
Compressed air is the most expensive utility in most facilities. The electricity to run the compressor often costs more than the compressor itself within two years of operation. Every leak, every pressure drop, and every contamination event compounds.
-
30%
Air Lost to Leaks
A typical aging steel piping system leaks 20 to 30 percent of compressed air output. The compressor runs longer, electricity bills increase, and equipment wears prematurely.
-
$8K+
Annual Energy Waste
For a 30 hp compressor running two shifts, leaks alone can cost $8,000 to $12,000 per year. A properly engineered aluminum piping system pays back the upgrade in 18 to 36 months.
-
1×
Ruined Batch, Recall
In pharma and food, one oil-contamination event from the wrong compressor can trigger a recall. ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free is non-negotiable for these industries.
Compressors We Supply
Two Compressor Technologies, Matched to Your Process
ACH supplies the two compressor technologies that cover the vast majority of regulated and demanding industrial applications: oil-free rotary screw and scroll. The right choice depends on your air quality requirement, demand profile, and operating environment. Every facility's needs map cleanly to one of these two technologies.

A Compressor Is Not a Compressed Air Piping System
A compressor by itself produces hot, wet, dirty air. Without proper treatment and distribution, that air will damage equipment, contaminate product, and waste energy. ACH delivers the complete compressed air piping system, every component sized, integrated, and commissioned together.
Why integration matters more than equipment.
When you buy a compressor from us, you also get a system designed to perform. The refrigerated or desiccant dryer is matched to your dew point requirement. Multi-stage filtration is sized for your air quality class. The receiver tank is sized for your demand profile. Automatic condensate management handles the water that your dryer removes. Aluminum piping is engineered for minimum pressure drop, drop to drop.
Every component sized to your demand profile. The result is a system that performs from day one, not one cobbled together from parts ordered separately and sized by rule of thumb.
| Compressor | Oil-free rotary screw or scroll, sized to your demand profile. |
|---|---|
| Air Dryer | Refrigerated or desiccant, matched to your required pressure dew point. |
| Filtration | Multi-stage particulate, coalescing, and activated carbon filters. |
| Receiver Tank | Buffers demand spikes, separates condensate, smooths system pressure. |
| Condensate Management | Automatic drains and oil-water separation for code compliance. |
| Aluminum Piping | Anodized aluminum distribution with code-compliant pipe markers. |
| Drops & Valves | Quick-connect couplers, ball valves, and FRL units at every point of use. |

The Blue Pipe, Built for Compressed Air Not Adapted to It
Traditional compressed air piping was steel: threaded, welded, prone to internal corrosion, slow to install, and a constant source of leaks. Modern aluminum piping is anodized and engineered specifically for compressed air piping service. Different problem, different material.
Steel pipe was never designed for this job.
Steel pipe corrodes from the inside, sheds rust and scale into your air stream, leaks at every threaded joint, and takes a week of welding to install or modify. Every patch is another failure point. Over the life of the system, the pipe itself becomes the largest source of waste and contamination.
Aluminum was engineered specifically for compressed air.
Push-fit modular construction means no welding or threading. The smooth interior bore reduces friction and pressure drop. The color-coded blue exterior meets industry safety standards for compressed air pipe identification. Fittings carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Plan a RetrofitAir Quality Standards
ISO 8573-1, the International Standard for Compressed Air
Every compressed air piping system has a target air quality. ISO 8573-1 is the global benchmark: three numbers expressing how clean your air must be for particles, water, and oil. ACH designs each system to meet your required ISO class, with the right compressor, dryer, and filtration combination.
| Class | Application |
|---|---|
| Class 0 | Pharmaceutical, food, beverage. Oil-free certified. |
| Class 1 | Critical electronics, hospital instruments. |
| Class 2 | General manufacturing with sensitive equipment. |
| Class 3 | Standard pneumatic tools and machinery. |
| Class 4 | General-purpose industrial air. |
How to Read the Code
An ISO 8573-1 spec looks like 1.4.1
1
Particles
4
Water
1
Oil
The three numbers represent Particles . Water . Oil, each on its own scale from 0 (cleanest) to 9 (least restrictive). A 1.4.1 spec means Class 1 particles, Class 4 water, Class 1 oil, typical for general food and beverage applications. For aseptic pharmaceutical fill, you would specify Class 1.2.1 or stricter. ACH helps you select the correct class for your process, then designs the system to deliver it consistently.
