Our approach

A complete compressed air piping system, not just a compressor.

Most facilities buy a compressor. Then, they inherit a piping problem.

In most facilities, old steel pipe corrodes from the inside. Meanwhile, leaks waste 20–30% of your compressed air output. As a result, pressure drops force the compressor to work harder than it should. Consequently, energy bills climb, equipment wears faster, and product quality drifts.

However, we approach it differently. Specifically, every compressed air piping system we deliver starts with what your process actually needs — air quality class, demand profile, peak load, point-of-use distribution, and future expansion capacity.

Then, we engineer the entire system as one solution.

From there, ACH Solutions designs the complete system: oil-free or scroll compressor, refrigerated or desiccant dryer, multi-stage filtration, properly sized receiver tank, condensate management, and AIRnet aluminum distribution to every drop. Furthermore, this discipline came from years of building turnkey cleanroom solutions for regulated industries — environments where the building infrastructure is part of the product, and where failure is not an option.

Finally, one team owns the outcome.

Unlike traditional installations, we don't hand off between trades. Instead, ACH Solutions performs the engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning under one accountable scope — similar to how we deliver project management services for cleanroom and modular construction projects.

We are an authorized Atlas Copco partner. Therefore, we design, supply, and install the entire compressed air piping system as one accountable solution.

Why this matters

Three hidden costs of a poor compressed air piping system.

Indeed, above all, compressed air is the most expensive utility in most facilities. In fact, electricity to run the compressor often costs more than the compressor itself within two years of operation. As a result, every leak, every pressure drop, and every contamination event compounds.

30%
Air lost to leaks
In fact, a typical aging steel piping system leaks 20–30% of compressed air output. Consequently, the compressor runs longer, electricity bills increase, and equipment wears prematurely.
$8K+
Annual energy waste
For example, for a 30 hp compressor running two shifts, leaks alone can cost $8,000–$12,000 per year. Therefore, a properly engineered AIRnet system pays back the upgrade in 18–36 months.
1×
Recall, ruined batch
Particularly in pharma and food, one oil-contamination event from the wrong compressor can trigger a recall. Hence, ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free is non-negotiable for these industries.
Compressors we supply

Two compressor technologies, matched to your process.

Atlas Copco — the standard for industrial compressed air.

As an authorized Atlas Copco partner, ACH Solutions specializes in two compressor technologies that cover the vast majority of regulated and demanding industrial applications: oil-free rotary screw and scroll. Naturally, the right choice depends on your air quality requirement, demand profile, and operating environment. In short, every facility's needs map cleanly to one of these two technologies.

TYPE 01 · ATLAS COPCO

Oil-free rotary screw compressors.

First, Atlas Copco oil-free rotary screw compressors deliver ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free compressed air — zero risk of oil contamination in the air stream. Consequently, this is the standard for pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and electronics manufacturing. Moreover, variable speed drive options dramatically reduce energy consumption.

Full system delivery

A compressor is not a compressed air piping system.

Why integration matters more than equipment.

In reality, a compressor by itself produces hot, wet, dirty air. Without proper treatment and distribution, that air will damage equipment, contaminate product, and waste energy. Therefore, ACH Solutions delivers the complete compressed air piping system — every component sized, integrated, and commissioned together.

Every component sized to your demand profile.

Specifically, when you buy a compressor from us, you also get a system designed to perform. For example, the refrigerated or desiccant dryer is matched to your dew point requirement. Similarly, multi-stage filtration is sized for your air quality class. Additionally, the receiver tank is sized for your demand profile. Moreover, automatic condensate management handles the water that your dryer removes. Finally, AIRnet aluminum piping is engineered for minimum pressure drop.

Why AIRnet aluminum piping

The blue pipe — built for compressed air, not adapted to it.

Steel pipe was never designed for this job.

Historically, traditional compressed air piping was steel — threaded, welded, prone to internal corrosion, slow to install, and a constant source of leaks. In contrast, AIRnet from Atlas Copco is anodized aluminum, engineered specifically for compressed air piping system service.

AIRnet was engineered specifically for compressed air.

First, push-fit modular construction means no welding or threading. Additionally, the smooth interior bore reduces friction and pressure drop. Moreover, the color-coded blue exterior meets industry safety standards for compressed air pipe identification. Finally, fittings carry a 10-year Atlas Copco warranty.

Air quality standards

ISO 8573-1 — the international standard for compressed air quality.

Why every facility needs to know its target class.

Above all, every compressed air piping system has a target air quality. Specifically, ISO 8573-1 is the global benchmark — three numbers expressing how clean your air must be for particles, water, and oil. Consequently, ACH Solutions designs each system to meet your required ISO class, with the right compressor, dryer, and filtration combination.

ISO 8573-1 Class Examples — Oil Quality
ClassApplication
Class 0Pharmaceutical, food, beverage — oil-free certified
Class 1Critical electronics, hospital instruments
Class 2General manufacturing with sensitive equipment
Class 3Standard pneumatic tools and machinery
Class 4General-purpose industrial air
How to read the code

An ISO 8573-1 spec looks like "1.4.1"

First, the three numbers represent Particles . Water . Oil — each on its own scale from 0 (cleanest) to 9 (least restrictive).

For example, Class 1.4.1 means Class 1 particles, Class 4 water, Class 1 oil — typical for general food and beverage applications. However, for aseptic pharmaceutical fill, you would specify Class 1.2.1 or stricter.

Therefore, ACH Solutions helps you select the correct ISO class for your process, then designs the system to deliver it consistently.

Common questions

Compressed air piping system — answers to what we hear most.

As an authorized Atlas Copco partner, we specialize in two compressor technologies: oil-free rotary screw and scroll. Specifically, oil-free rotary screw compressors deliver ISO 8573-1 Class 0 air quality for pharmaceutical, food, and electronics applications. Meanwhile, scroll compressors provide clean, quiet, energy-efficient compressed air for laboratories, dental, and small manufacturing. In short, both options are oil-free by design.
Indeed, a complete compressed air piping system includes the compressor (oil-free or scroll), refrigerated or desiccant dryer, multi-stage particulate and coalescing filtration, properly sized air receiver tank, automatic condensate management, and full distribution piping with drops and quick-couplers at every point of use. Furthermore, ACH Solutions designs, supplies, and installs all components as a single integrated solution.
First, AIRnet anodized aluminum piping is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and modular — assembled with push-fit fittings rather than welding or threading. As a result, installation is up to 70% faster than traditional steel pipe, fittings come with a 10-year Atlas Copco warranty, and the smooth interior bore reduces pressure drop and energy waste over the life of the system. Additionally, the signature blue color meets industry pipe-marking standards.
Above all, ISO 8573-1 is the international standard for compressed air quality. Specifically, it's expressed as a three-part code for particles, water, and oil — for example, 1.4.1 means Class 1 particles, Class 4 water, Class 1 oil. Furthermore, pharmaceutical and food production typically require Class 1 or Class 0 for oil, achieved with oil-free compressors. However, selecting the wrong air quality class can mean contaminated product, damaged equipment, or wasted energy. Therefore, ACH Solutions designs every compressed air piping system to meet your specific ISO 8573-1 requirement.
No. ACH Solutions installs industrial compressed air piping systems only. Specifically, we do not currently provide medical gas piping installation under NFPA 99 or CSA Z7396.1. However, for medical gas projects, we can refer you to certified specialists in our network.
