Containment & Modular Build For Data Centers

Containment Solutions for Data Centers

Aisle containment separates the cold supply air a server rack draws in from the hot air it exhausts, so the two never mix. Without it, hot exhaust recirculates into intakes, cooling plant works harder than it should, and capacity is wasted on air that never reaches equipment. Containment is built from wall panels, doors and ceiling systems, which is what we manufacture.

Hot and Cold Aisle Containment Systems

Enclose the supply aisle so conditioned air is delivered only where racks draw it in, allowing higher supply temperatures and reduced fan energy.

Hot Aisle Containment

Capture exhaust at the rear of the racks and return it directly to the cooling plant, keeping the wider white space at a comfortable working temperature.

White Space Partitions

Modular walls that separate data halls, staging areas, electrical rooms and offices, and can be reconfigured as the facility grows.

Sealing the Envelope

Blanking panels, brush grommets, sealed penetrations and tight door seals, because containment only performs as well as its leakage path.

Cleanroom Solutions for Data Centers

At ACH Engineering, we understand that contamination control and airflow management are critical in data centres. These facilities draw large volumes of outside air, and every particle, sulphur-bearing gas and degree of unmanaged heat shortens the life of the hardware inside. From hot and cold aisle containment systems to ISO Class 8 server halls, our modular wall, ceiling and door systems give precise control over air quality, temperature and humidity, protecting equipment while reducing the energy spent cooling it. By applying the same sealed-envelope engineering behind our pharmaceutical cleanrooms, ACH's turnkey solutions help data centres run cleaner, cooler and more efficiently.

Our Data Center Solutions

We provide complete turnkey containment and modular build packages for your facility through manufacturing, supplying, and installing.

Our Professional Data Center Solutions Include:

  1. Hot & Cold Aisle Containment Systems
  2. Modular Walls & White Space Partitions
  3. Suspended / Walkable Ceilings
  4. Flush Doors & Vision Panels
  5. HVAC Supply & Installation
  6. Environmental Monitoring Systems
  7. Structural & MEP Construction

Every element is manufactured in our own facility and installed by our own crews, so one team is accountable from drawing to handover. Panels arrive precut, which cuts on-site time and dust, and lets work proceed row by row inside a hall that keeps running.

Whether you are building a new data centre, retrofitting containment into an existing raised floor hall, or fitting out an edge deployment, we design the containment around your rack layout and cooling architecture rather than the other way round.

Containment, Fire Safety and Live Sites

Containment changes how a data hall behaves in a fire, and most of these projects happen inside facilities that cannot be shut down. Both need designing for, not discovering.

  1. Sprinkler coordination: containment roofs specified with drop-away panels or fusible link retention so suppression reaches the racks as the design intends
  2. Detection coverage: aspirating and point detection reviewed against the enclosed volume, since a sealed aisle is a separate space from the room around it
  3. Authority approval: containment layout coordinated with the fire protection engineer and local authority before fabrication, not after
  4. Live site working: phased installation, dust control and out of hours sequencing so the hall keeps running through the build
  5. Cable and service penetrations: sealed as engineered assemblies, since every gap is bypass airflow and a fire stopping question at once
  6. Reconfiguration: modular systems demount and relocate as rack density and layout change, without rebuilding from scratch.
